December baby

At this point unless something happens right now for sure Marley will be a December baby.

6 days to go until his due date....

Marley seems to be on Hawaiian time. Just like his dad.

8 days to go...

I know I won't be pregnant forever but sometimes I feel that way!

Black Friday

Nick and I had an awesome Thanksgiving yesterday. We had lunch at Veronicas house with her inlaws and my parents and we were home by 4:30 taking a nap. We then went to Santa ana to our friend Victors house to have dinner. We were home by 10pm and I was in bed by 10:15. I feel like we didn't over do it eating this year which is a good thing and I started the morning off by going to the gym and walking a few miles to encourage Marley to come out already. Nick and I are both anxious for the arrival of Marley and everyday I wake up thinking is it going to be today?! I pray that I am not one of those women who go past the due date. My plan is just to keep walking everday. I want to be as strong as possible for the labor and delivery.

4d Ultrasound

38 weeks tomorrow!

I went with my mom, Veronica, and Ethan today to get a 4d ultrasound. We were suprised we were able to see anything because Marley is already so big and ussually by this time it can be hard to get a clear picture. I actually got 40 pictures of his face looking all cute and chubby. We even got a dvd of the whole session and some print outs. From what we could see Marley is running out space and he has a full head of hair. I had a Dr. appointment today and I am already dialated to 1cm which is a good sign that Marley is coming soon. He has dropped and is at a -2 in my pelvis. I am so excited and I am looking forward to meeting my little bu.

Now all I need is black rims. Marley and me will be rolling in style.

37 weeks and 4 days!



New Car for Marley!

I sold my truck after 11 years of good times on Monday. It was time to get something new and more spacious for Marley. I don't even think I could have fit a car seat in the back of the pick up truck. Not exactly the safest car either. Yesterday we went to Corona to get the deal and we got a 2010 Mazda 5. It is super nice and is similar to a wagon that seats six and has plenty of space for Marley and my surfboards. It is black and we are tinting the windows and getting matching rims put on it. It was tough to part with my truck but it is also refreshing to know that we have a car better suited for our little guy! Nick and I are feeling so grown up right now. Buying a car was easy and we felt good about it. Hopefully in a few years the next step will be to buy a house or condo.

37 weeks tomorrow!

It could be anyday now! According to every website out there after 37 weeks Marley will be considered full term. I can't wait to meet him. He has been very active in my belly and hopefully will decide he is ready to come out sooner than later. Cross your fingers everyone. Lets see if we make it to Thanksgiving.

11-10-11 Ultrasound

Marley as of today was measured at 7lbs 4 ounces and I was measured at 37 weeks and 1 day. The ultrasound tech said he thinks he will be 8lbs when he is born and he projected a due date of November 30th. Either way in the next month he should be here and should weigh over 7lbs for sure.

30 days to go!!!

With the original due date set as 12/6/2011 officially there is one month to go until Marley arrives. I have gotten everything as ready as I possibly could and I am praying that he decides he wants to come out early. Nick has been preparing his coworkers as well, letting them know that when that moment comes he will need to take some time off to be with his son. We are both super excited and are ready to bring Marley home and show him off to family and friends. I have a bag packed for the hospital with a few cute outfits in there so Marley can be dressed in style ASAP. Nick and I plan on calling family and friends after Marley is born. Only a select few VIP family members will be at the hospital during the labor and delivery. Wish us luck everyone and we promise to keep you posted. xoxo

Lilly made a joke that I should crop her into the sister photo that we took at the last baby shower since she is living back in Italy. I thought to myself what a funny but great idea. LOL
